Apparently the Town of Valdez has moved and was originally here, to the left as you are coming in.
See? It sez so right here
I just stayed on the main road to see how far it would go...
And it went this far...
This is a 180 degree panorama, so it's not really an L-shaped dock. Click it to see a full-screen version.
I finally found the big secret of where RV's are born!
But it wasn't so bad because I met a guy, Andy, from the Czech Republic who insisted I share a beer with.
And his lovely wife/girlfriend(?), Anna.
I didn't feel like staying in Valdez all that long, so after a beer, it was time to hit the road again, this time for Haines, Alaska.
I don't always take the road most travelled
So, ATV's arent' allowed on the main roads, but they have their own network of roads that mostly follow next to the main roads. Well, if you want to have some real fun, get off the main road for awhile and try your hand at the ATV tracks. Mud, whoops, potholes, vegetation, etc. You know... just in case you're feeling a little bored
