The Road to Valdez

From GlenAllen, I turned south again on Hwy 4 to Valdez. Just when you think Alaska can't get any more awesome, it does.



Not many pics with bikes in them, now that I'm traveling solo.







A pump station just like the ones up the Haul Road. The oil is pumped all the way to Valdez, where it is loaded onto tankers.













































Worthington Glacier. Nothing and nobody to keep you from climbing up on it. You gotta love it.

















Apparently Thompson Pass on the way to Valdez is almost always fogged in. It was fun!
