The road to Whittier is definitely gorgeous, but then you come to a place where you have to pay a toll! Note that bikes get last priority, so you could be waiting a long time to get in, and get back out. The roadway and the train tracks share the same space in the long tunnel, so there is some coordination going on. Hey, if you think $12 is spendy, good thing you're not in a commercial vehicle!
