At Denali, Taking the Tour - Caution, Brats on Board

If you want to take a tour of the park, you can get on a shuttle bus for varying lengths of time. We elected to take the 5-1/2 hour tour, but you can get tours up to 13 hours, and as short as 2 hours. My personal opinion, the 5-1/2 hour tour was 2 hours too long. Now granted, my opinion may have been jaded by my neighbors. Let me iterate them:

A cute 11 year old girl who talked to me endlessly (and then, this one time at band camp...)

Two boys (8 and 9 I'd guess) directly behind me.

1 2 year old who wasn't afraid to throw a fit when she wanted something.

But my favorite were the two boys across and back one seat. They passed the time by inventing ways to rack each other in the nuts. Paper, Rock, a quick fist in the junk! My god, this went on for hours. My escape was to sleep, but then, I'd be awakened "My god, there's a ptarmign right by the bus! Stop the bus, wildlife sighting!"

It was my own, personal, living hell.

There's one of the little bastards now! His buddies get on at the next stop.

Alaska's state bird. I understand they taste just like chicken

I wonder if we taste like chicken? A mama and her cub.

Ok, who's the 10 year old now?

A 360 degree panarama from one of the bus stops

Ok, well that one's hard to see. Let's try this one.
